현재 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 멀티터치 센서는 적외선방식(IR 센서), 정전용량방식(터치필름), 옵티컬 카메라 방식입니다. 케이지12에서는 적외선 방식 센서 중 세계 3대 업체 중에 하나인 중국의 ZAAGTECH사의 센서를 수입하여 판매하고 있으며, 정전용량방식 멀티터치 센서의 최고의 기술을 선보이고 있는 포르투갈의 DISPLAX 사 제품을 취급하고 있습니다.

 

디스플레이 시스템이란 대형 사이즈 패널과 이를 구동하는 컴퓨터로 구성됩니다. 패널은 삼성과 LG에서 판매되는 산업용 패널로 흔히 DID 패널이라고 부릅니다. 최근에는 LED패널의 개발로 TV용 패널 또한 많이 사용되고 있습니다. 운영 컴퓨터는 센서 구동과 함께 적절한 해상도(일반적으로 FULL HD구성)로 컨텐츠를 구현하기 위해 그래픽 카드와 함께 사용됩니다.

 

일반적으로 멀티터치 센서를 사용하는 현장에서는 사용목적에 맞는 컨텐츠를 함께 사용하여, 이용자가 멀티터치 하드웨어와 소프트웨어를 통해 최적화된 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 구성합니다. 케이지12에서는 고객의 요구에 맞는 컨텐츠를 제안 및 개발해드리고 있으며, 프로젝트에 따라서 적합한 컨텐츠 개발업체과 함께 작업을 하기도 합니다. 현재 국내외의 3개 업체와 협력하여 컨텐츠 제안 및 개발업무를 진행하고 있습니다.

 

기존에는 단일 디스플레이를 활용하여 멀티터치 솔루션을 구성하는 것이 일반적이었으나, 최근에는 멀티비젼(VIDEO WALL)에 대형 멀티터치 센서를 설치하여 다수의 사용자가 사용할 수 있도록 구성하는 것이 일반화되고 있습니다. 대형 멀티터치 솔루션의 경우, 센서의 성능 및 디스플레이의 해상도, 운영하는 컴퓨터 및 비디오 컨트롤러의 조합이 중요합니다. 뿐만아니라 컨텐츠 또한 제품의 구성에 맞춰 개발이 이뤄져야 최적화된 상태로 운용이 가능합니다.
